The Cruel Sea is an atmospheric Bistro in the heart of Penn Hill.

Owned by local fisherman, Pete Miles , we specialise in fresh, locally caught seafood - as well as local meat and game. Sustainability and seasonality are at the forefront of our minds when creating our menus, we have a passion for our local area and all the wonderful produce it has to offer.

Tapas and A La Carte menus are available, and our Poole oysters and Fruits de Mer are not to be missed!
