Following an extensive reconstruction project, Hastings Pier reopened to the public in April 2016. The pier is a modern, 21st century attraction with its history and heritage at its heart.

Open 7 days a week all year round (opening times vary depending on the season and event). Free entry (apart from ticketed events).

Promenade 272 metres out to sea; relax with a cup of coffee and an outstanding ocean view at the Upper Deck viewing platform cafe; and enjoy a portion of fish and chips or a meal at the restaurant (freshly made using locally-sourced ingredients). Pop into The Deck visitor centre and explore Hastings Pier Charity's Digital Archive in our interactive exhibition spaces. You can also explore our external interpretation, including a trail, periscopes, binoculars and waltz steps (all free to use!). There is a range of shopping options too - browse a range of quality gifts from our Hastings Pier Shop (in The Deck building) and the independent retail kiosks, and stop by the independent food and beverage kiosks for a sweet or savoury treat!

Hastings Pier hosts a wide range of events all year around - from summer circuses and live music concerts, to open-air cinema screenings and free family workshops. Please see our website for more details on what's coming up.
