Lysses House, once a family residence built at the height of the Georgian era, is now a small independent hotel. Set in the heart of Fareham, within 5 minutes walking distance of the town centre, the hotel benefits from the quiet and peaceful surroundings of the old High Street.
The hotel has 21 contemporarily furnished bedrooms, all with tea and coffee making facilities, flat screen digital remote control televisions with built in Freeview and free wifi throughout the hotel. We also offer complimentary parking for up to 35 cars, subject to availability, and free entry to Sports Direct Fitness, just 5 minutes walk from the hotel.
Our Richmond Restaurant is situated on the ground floor and can cater for anything from a quick breakfast to a leisurely 4 course dinner.
Our menu is served at both lunch and dinner and dietary requirements can be catered for. We always have vegetarian and gluten free options available and other dietary requirements can be catered for on request.
Special events, functions and private celebrations can all be catered for with the same impeccable service and superb cuisine you would expect.
Tea, coffee, cold drinks and light snacks can be served in our lounge bar, or if the weather is warm, in the tranquil surroundings of our garden terrace.
Room service is also available.
The hotel also has 4 meeting rooms with a capacity of up to 100 people.
Fareham is situated between Portsmouth and Southampton on the M27 South Coast Motorway, making it an ideal base for visiting the tourist attractions of both cities, along with the New Forest. The area is steeped in naval history and has many places of interest and natural beauty to visit all within easy reach of Lysses House Hotel.
