We are a licensed Farmhouse Restaurant set in a tastefully converted 400 year old barn at the foot of the Black Hill in the Black Mountains on the edge of The Brecon Beacons Nation Park. We are passionate about our food and where it comes from, where possible the ingredients in our home prepared, home cooked dishes are either produced on our own working family farm or sourced locally.
We are also very passionate about our local area & community. A area has been described as a 'Hidden gem' and with a selection of local footpaths we encourage people to get out and enjoy the walking, scenic views, wildlife and birds all for free within the area.
We are an ideal base for a romantic weekend, a week of discovery or a family adventure. Some local places of interest you may like to visit are Hay-on-Wye, Hereford, Abergavenny, Longtown Castle, Hay Bluff, Llanthony Priory, Arthur's Stone.
Our one en-suite room is also pet friendly as is our restaurant.
