Within easy reach are Sissinghurst Castle & Gardens, Leeds Castle, Bodiam, Scotney Castle, Great Dixter gardens to name a few. The attractive old fishing port of Rye is just half an hour away. Then there is Hastings, and a bit further on Brighton.
