Welcome to our character cottage situated in the heart of historic Sandwich yet only two miles from the sea. The 17th century listed property sleeps up to four people. It boasts beams, inglenook and a wood-burner together with modern comforts such as gas central heating, wi-fi and a well-equipped kitchen. Garage parking is included, a short walk away, or you can park on street. There is a small, fully-enclosed courtyard with patio table and chairs.

All of Sandwich’s many amenities are right on the doorstep: shops, pubs, cafes, restaurants, banks, mainline train station and bus services. Local attractions include the quay, the old town walls walk, a maze of narrow streets lined with medieval buildings, the Roman fort at Richborough, Salutation Gardens, nature reserves and unspoiled Sandwich Bay.

The cottage is cosy and compact with limited headroom in places. On the ground floor is a tastefully furnished living room with wood-burner stove plus a fully equipped kitchen. A double bedroom and compact bathroom are located on the first floor, which is reached via a conventional staircase. A further flight of stairs leads to the attic room with its twin beds. This upper staircase is extremely steep, making the attic room unsuitable for less agile people and children under 11.

Facilities include: gas central heating, TVs, DVD players, wi-fi, electric cooker with hob, microwave, slow cooker, washing machine, tumble dryer, iron and board, a selection of games and books and more. Bed linen, towels, utilities, a basket of logs and garage parking are all included in the price.

Up to two well-behaved dogs are welcome.
