'The Fitz', as it's known to many, is a popular pub in the beautiful village of Goodnestone in Kent. You'll find us very near Goodnestone Park Gardens, only 20 minutes from the cathedral city of Canterbury. Dating back to 1589, the pub is full of character; we have open log fires, wooden floors, exposed brick walls and Kent hops lining the beams. Outside, we have a gorgeous garden which is the perfect place to relax on a warm day. It even has a dog bowl for your four-legged friend!

We serve great food here every day, and our chalk cellars keep the temperature and condition of our Shepherd Neame Ales just perfect. We also have a selection of wines, spirits and soft drinks.

There's always something going on at The Fitz. Our charity pub quiz is very popular, and our darts, billiards and bat and trap teams do us proud - let us know if you want to join in.
