The Red Lion Inn is a contemporary Pub and Restaurant situated in the Vale of Belvoir a stones throw from Belvoir Castle and at the heart of many walking trails. Recently refurbished, the 16th Century Red Lion Inn is a hidden gem in the quaint village of Stathern.
Featuring three separate areas to dine with log fires during the Winter and an outdoor Garden and Courtyard in the Summer, the Red Lion Inn is perfect for every occasion. Boasting an extensive seasonal changing A La Carte Menu created by our talented Head Chef Duane Dane and his Team, we use the highest quality ingredients and freshest local produce wherever possible. Our specialities include 40 day dry aged Herefordshire Steaks, fresh grilled Lobsters, King Scallops, local shot Game Meats and locally made Cheeses amongst other culinary delights.
The Red Lion Inn is open and serving food all day everyday. Alongside our A La Carte we also have a Set Menu at lunch and dinner, a Snack Menu and a Pub Classics Menu which both run throughout the day Monday-Saturday. We pride ourselves on offering something for everyone, whether you've just finished a long walk, fancy a drink and catch up with friends in the afternoon or you'd like to celebrate your 50th Anniversary with us, you can enjoy wonderful food, great beers and fine wines at any time of the day!
