Café Spice Namasté is Cyrus and Pervin Todiwala’s family-run Indian restaurant in historic East London, a short stroll from the Tower of London. Now in our 22nd year, we continue to welcome food lovers in search of something that bit different, as epitomised by Chef Cyrus' sophisticated and imaginative cuisine. Our generous meat and vegetarian tikka platters, authentic Parsee dhaansaak and Goan-inspired seafood dishes are among the tempting cornerstones of a menu whose specials change regularly with the seasons.
We commit to using the best local British produce wherever possible, and always the freshest ingredients. We are proud of our carefully selected, responsible suppliers. And we love hosting our now famous Khaadraas 'Greedy Pigs' Club, a gourmet showcase for Cyrus & Pervin's rich Parsee heritage.

The word means 'a warm hello' in Hindi. Here the Bombay-born, bred and trained Chef Cyrus Todiwala began to develop his hallmark style of blending traditional Indian and classical French culinary techniques and flavours with more unexpected ingredients.
This ethos quickly evolved further at Café Spice Namasté, the much larger 180-cover restaurant that he and Pervin helped to establish in 1995, eventually taking over the business completely.
Today, our restaurant, set in a Grade II-listed former magistrate's court, resembles a warm, airy and colourful family home.
Together, Cyrus and Pervin have built an award-winning institution renowned worldwide for a consistently innovative and fresh approach to Indian cuisine. Café Spice Namasté has held a coveted Michelin BIB Gourmand for 18 years, and we are pioneers in the UK hospitality industry's campaign for the environment and sustainability.
We hold a Green Apple Award for Environmental Best Pratice, and won the Sustainable Food Award at the 2011 City of London Sustainable Cities Awards. In 2013, we were named the Best Asian Restaurant at the prestigious Asian Business Awards.
Café Spice is located in the Grade II listed former Whitechapel County & Police Courts built in 1858-9.
Chef Patron Cyrus Todiwala OBE DL is a multi award winning celebrity Chef who has appeared on shows such as Saturday Kitchen, The Incredible Spice Men, Pointless and Antiques Roadshow.

Turkey Nargisi Kofta Curry, part of our speciality menu this modern take on the forerunner of the scotch egg. Turkey minced with ginger, garlic, chilli and mint formed around a boiled egg and simmered in a goan coconut curry.
