The Vic is our lovely, traditional, award winning, 180 year old London Pub. We serve Fuller's ales & a couple of guests too, as well as our own Fuller's Frontier lager, other craft beers & a few of the usual suspects you would hope to see in any good pub. We are small with only 11 tables in the main bar so expect to cosy up to your neighbour on the busier evenings...its good to talk and that's what happens a lot at The Vic. We have three open fires, some rather scary stair cases and two beautiful upstairs dining rooms...you can call to book a table in these. Food is home made and ranges from the traditional to the more up to date...we are well known for serving great food so a wait for a table often comes with a visit to The Vic. You can bring your dog to the main bar ( not upstairs though please ) and accompanied, well behaved children are welcome until 9pm too. Lots of history including the launch of an EP by David Bowie in 1966, regular usage by Winston Churchill & Charles Dickens. In the summer we have a few outside tables on the patio great for people watching and soaking up the occasional rays of sun ...the odd BBQ or local band add to the general buzz and we have a quiz from 9pm every Tuesday night throughout the year.
