Located in the heart of rural Norfolk, there can be no better way to view roses than from within the beautiful two acre display gardens of Peter Beales Roses, which are free to visit throughout the year.

Since the first roses were planted in 1983, the gardens have always been an integral part of the nursery, with visitors coming from all over the world to view the roses. Specialising in the preservation of old fashioned roses, the gardens provide you with a chance to see unique, historic, rare and contemporary roses growing in harmony with other complementary plants.
Whatever time of year you choose to visit, you will find roses and plants that will intrigue and inspire. With magnificent rose walkways and arches, including the breath-taking St Albans walkway, a specially designed wildlife garden, pond, children's woodland play area and stunning observation turret, the gardens are a refreshing haven for all visitors.

With over 1,100 varieties of roses available to choose from, Peter Beales specialist rose and plant centre offers what is quite possibly the largest selection of commercially available roses in the world. In addition Peter Beales is the place for plants, stocking a vast and constantly growing range of shrubs, perennials and climbers.
All of their roses are locally grown and their friendly team of experts are always on hand to offer advice. The garden centre shop offers a wide range of gifts and gardening products for the discerning gardener and the fully licensed Tea Room and Restaurant offers a varied menu from light refreshments to hot meals, with friendly service and locally sourced fresh produce.

Peter Beales hold many events throughout the year, ranging from specialist plant, food and craft fairs to regular informative talks and supper evenings held within the Tea Room. The most popular event of the year is the Peter Beales Rose Festival which is held over two days in June as the roses are at their best.

A range of specially tailored tours and refreshment packages are also available for coach and group bookings, as well as for individuals. These tours are led by one of the dedicated team of experts and offers an interesting and informative look at not only the gardens, but also the history behind the roses. Please contact Peter Beales for more information, pricing and booking.
