Alder Carr Farm is a visitor attraction with things suitable for the whole family. There is the Alder Carr award-winning, family run farm shop, filled to the brim with local produce and a PYO farm where you can pick the fruit of the season.

The craft centre has The Piggery Pottery, a sugar craft shop, The Country Studio, an artist’s studio, also selling silk flowers and other goodies; Half Penny Home, a habadashery, also offering regular craft workshops and the courtyard Barn Cafe selling homemade cakes and light lunches.

There is a play area, farm animals and there are regular seasonal food events – please see the Alder Carr website for full listing.


Alder Carr farm is the base for the family-run ice cream company, Alder Tree, that uses its home-grown fruits and flowers to delicious ends.
