The New Wolsey Theatre is a 400 seat producing and receiving house in the heart of Ipswich with the 100 seat New Wolsey Studio just 5 minutes away in St. Georges Street (IP1 3NF). The New Wolsey Cafe is open 10am-8pm and offers a full day time menu alongside the pre-show performance menu. Theatre tours run on Saturdays and are available to book from the Box Office.
The New Wolsey is renowned for its actor musician style musicals including its famous Rock 'N' Roll style Panto which is the longest running in the country. The Theatre has access at its core being the lead partner in the Ramps On The Moon initiative which aims to put more D/deaf and disabled people both on stage and in the audience.
The theatre also programmes more challanging works into the core of its seasons and has Pulse festival in the May half-term which helps provide a platform for developing artists.
