At the heart of the sleepy historic village of Southwick in South Hampshire stands the scheduled ancient monument that is the Southwick Brewhouse. This early Victorian brewery last saw active service in 1957 when master brewer Dick Olding hung up his keys on the hook for the last time. It was he who crafted the ales to supply The Golden Lion public house next door where General Eisenhower and Montgomery took sustenance as they planned the D-Day landings in 1944.
So, to business. Our enormous and ever-changing offering includes selections from all of the local brewers. Combine this with rare oddities from around the country and seasonal specials our choice at any time cannot be rivaled.
