Our intention is to provide the local community and online global community with a transforming selection of perfect presents for all ages and occasions with the emphasis on colour, celebration, quality, uniqueness, value for money and great design. The business intends to attract and showcase the work of local artists, designers and crafts people to support and encourage the creativity at the heart of the local community. This is in addition to stocking some wonderful products from Disaster Designs, Emma Ball, Art File, Art Angel and Photowrap ...including gift wrap, bags and cards to complete the gift package.
The company is founded by Andy Welch who has many years experience in the gift and fashion trades. He has worked as a sales manager to retail outlets worldwide with a huge range of products from bags, shoes, knitwear and leather goods. He has also managed creative retail outlets over many years. He worked as a fashion photographer and co-managed a very successful knitwear business called ‘Soft Options’ from 1981 to 1990. He ran a retail business in Nottingham city called ‘Spirit’ from 1994 until 2001 with his wife to be Jo Wood. ‘Spirit’ sold exclusive and collectable hand painted glass pieces by Jo.
