Jailhouse Tours is one of the world’s most interactive prison event companies, offering a range of tours and events at Shrewsbury Prison, Gloucester Prison and Shepton Mallet Prison.

Guests are fully immersed in the prison experience, they get the chance to understand first-hand how life was when the prisons were fully operational. Heritage based tours looking into the life and history of the prisons are led by former prison staff who have first hand experience of working in the very wings you are touring.

Shrewsbury Prison was a fully operational prison from 1793-2013, Gloucester Prison from 1792-2013 and Shepton Mallet Prison from 1610-2013. Each has a long history of incarceration and execution with many stories and secrets hidden behind their imposing walls.

From the guided history & heritage tours tours where guests learn about the inner workings of a prison to fully immersive events, all of the prisons' events are completely unique, encouraging and enthusing guests to come back time and time again.
