The campsite is close to the beautiful city of Wells, with its magnificent Cathedral and Bishops Palace, mystic Glastonbury and the historic market town of Shepton Mallet. You can also enjoy days out at the Avalon Marshes wildlife reserves, the Fleet Air Arm Museum, Stourhead, the Bath & West Showground, shopping at Clark's Village in Street, 3 different Steam railways and many other attractions. The beaches of Weston-super-Mare, Burnham-on-Sea, Lyme Regis, Weymouth and West Bay (TV's "Broadchurch") are an hour or less away.
Camping Magazine featured our site as No3 in its top 10 sites for families (July 2015). The Alan Rogers Guide of hand-picked sites describes Greenacres as "a true haven of peace and quiet".
