Chasewater Railway operates heritage steam and diesel trains on Sundays and Bank Holiday Mondays throughout the year, most Saturdays Easter to October and certain weekdays throughout the summer. Take an approximate 4 mile round trip on our ex colliery line through Chasewater Country park, with average journey time taking up to 1 Hour including stops and locomotive run round. You can hop on and off to take advantage of all we and the park has to offer, More than just a train ride a great family day out.
We have an Arts Council England accredited Museum, Our heritage centre houses a collection of locomotives and rolling stock from our industrial past, Great value fares most tickets valid the whole day, We hold regular special events and run Santa Specials every December (booking essential for Santa). We have gift & model shops, Tea Room , Bric-a Brac, Model Railways and Narrow gauge railway on certain days, Driver experience courses, Coaches by appointment, Free parking, Most of our facilities are easily accessible including ramped access to the train.
