Here at Mid Float Farm Holidays we offer the chance to “kick-back, relax and escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life”.

Situated in the tranquil surrounds of Sandhead’s countryside within the Rhins of Galloway in South West Scotland, we offer two 4-Star (Scottish Tourist Board) self catering modern holiday homes – The Whins and Float Bay View.

Finished to a very high standard, these two homes are fully equipped for your comfort and enjoyment. Both of our properties offer parking for a number of cars, modern equipped kitchens, well designed bathrooms, comfortable lounges, wi-fi, disabled access, gardens and decking area, as well as additional extras such as barbecues. Pets are also welcome, however are subject to prior arrangement.

If you have your own accommodation, we could also be the perfect destination for you! We have a limited number of spaces available for camper vans with electric hook-up facilities. As well as this, we also offer two budget caravan lets.

We pride ourselves in offering a welcoming and enjoyable experience for our guests. With quiet countryside, views of beautiful Scottish wildlife and the Irish Sea it really makes our job easy!

The Whins -

The Whins is an open plan, modern holiday home built and finished to a very high standard to create a detached holiday cottage. With three bedrooms, the Whins can accommodate up to six guests.

With a TV in each room, mirrored wardrobes, a jacuzzi style bath, wi-fi and other mod-cons of today, The Whins provides nothing short of easy living; not to mention the scenic views which are on offer from every window.

With a decking area and several double-opening doors, The Whins ensures that Sandhead’s sublime countryside is inescapable.

Float Bay View -

Float Bay View is an open plan, modern holiday home built over two-stories and finished to a very high standard to create a detached ‘farm-house’ style holiday home. With three bedrooms on offer, Float Bay View can accommodate up to seven guests.

With a TV in each room, a jacuzzi style bath, a sun-lounge and other mod-cons of today, Float Bay View provides nothing short of easy living; not to mention the scenic views which are on offer from every window.

The decking area which is elevated above ground level, accessible from several double-opening doors, provides breathtaking views of the Irish sea and Sandhead’s countryside.
