Heaven Scent is delighted to run the modern, funky café at the prestigious Dunfermline Carnegie Library & Galleries.

Opened in May 2017 as part of the major Dunfermline Carnegie Library & Galleries development, Heaven Scent mezzanine café is designed in the same strikingly modern style as the rest of the building, and boasts stunning views over the landscaped garden to the famous Dunfermline Abbey and beautiful Heritage Quarter. Open 7 days a week, the café offers breakfasts, light snacks, barista coffee and tempting home made baking as well as the warm welcome, friendly staff and quirky atmosphere for which Heaven Scent is renowned. On sunny days you can enjoy tea and delicious cake outside on the covered balcony while sipping your tea and tucking into delicious cake.

In keeping with Heaven Scent’s ethos of using ethically sourced produce, most of our ingredients and dishes are either produced locally or fair trade. We're also proud to cater for everyone to create a memorable, stress-free experience so offer fun, healthy options for children as well as an appealing range of FreeFrom options. We're always trying to expand our range of multi-allergen-free dishes without compromising on either taste or texture.

The spectacular, world-class £12.4million award-winning new building in which the café is housed was designed by Richard Murphy Architects and has already won two awards, including the EAA Building of the Year award. It links superbly with the world’s first Carnegie Library and houses a new museum, exhibition galleries, local history reading room and new children’s library. Altogether a great day out!
