Cairngorm Country Cottage sleeps 12 people and is set in a stunning location just outside the pretty Highland village of Newtonmore, just a stone's throw from the River Spey. You will love the fantastic countryside views across the beautiful Spey Valley and to the picturesque Monadhliath Mountains beyond.

Perfect for family gatherings, special birthday or anniversary celebrations, and groups of friends with 6 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms, 3 very large reception rooms and a large luxurious kitchen.

It is more than just an outstanding self catering holiday cottage; it's a luxurious base from which you can enjoy the extensive local activities and visitor attractions on offer in the area. You will also have a wide choice of great eating places where you can sample the fabulous local produce. A range of interesting and more unusual shops along with colourful galleries, potteries and craft centres should keep even the largest, and most diverse group content.

This spacious and relaxing retreat located in the heart of the Cairngorm National Park is for many of our guests a home from home, as they return for long or short stays throughout the year.

Imagine unwinding in the massage chair, relaxing, enjoying the views, the peace and the tranquillity. Perhaps you might take yourself off for a walk around the colourful landscaped gardens before your family BBQ on the sunny patio. A mini highland games or a spot of rounders in the paddock with your family and friends could be the perfect end to the days activities before watching the sun set over the mountains to the west. Whatever your choices, you are sure to be refreshed by the end of your stay.

Both floors of the house have underfloor heating throughout supplied by ground source heating and solar panels. The two largest reception rooms have log burning stoves, and so you can relax and enjoy a crackling real log fire.

Our guests love watching the local wildlife visitors to the garden, which include an array of small birds, woodpeckers, pheasants, partridges, red squirrels and deer.

Bedrooms consist of three kingsize rooms, a twin room, a triple room with three single beds and a small single room. There are also two cots for our younger guests if needed. Four of the bedrooms are en suite.

The large formal dining room seats 12 people and there is an additional dining area in the kitchen, which also seats 12. Two highchairs are provided if required.

The sitting room has reclining seating for 12, a large flat screen satellite TV, DVD, player, CD player and a wood burning stove. The larger, more formal lounge has triple aspect floor to ceiling windows to take advantage of the amazing views across the gardens to the mountains beyond. There is also a log burning stove and a massage chair in this room.

The professionally designed and luxurious bespoke kitchen diner has marble worktops natural stone flooring and mood lighting. It is exceptionally well equipped with a large magnetic hob, two ovens and a third microwave combi oven, an under counter fridge and a large American fridge freezer with iced water and ice dispenser. There is also a separate wine cooler, dishwasher, toaster, bread maker, ice cream maker, sandwich and waffle maker, coffee machine, mixers, blenders, baking equipment, professional knives, and more than ample pots, pans, serving dishes for a party of 12 people.

There is a large utility room with drying space, washing machine and tumble dryer, a boot room and walk in larder.
