An award winning 2ft Heritage Narrow Gauge railway that runs between Leadhills and Glengonnar Halt. 3/4 mile of track that passes through the lead mining heritage of the Lowther Hills, and past Glengonnar Mine which descended 1500 ft down to sea level during its working days
We are open from Easter till end of September, running at weekends only and some Bank holidays. We have events throughout the season, including a visiting steam weekend, and culminating in a Santa Weekend on the first weekend in December.
Trains run from 10.45 till 16.00 Saturday - Sunday.
