Betws-y-Coed lies within the Conwy Valley at the confluence of the Conwy and Llugwy rivers. It is known as Wales' most famous inland resort and boasts high quality shops to cater for all tastes.

At the market town of Llanrwst you can marvel at the architecture of the bridge over the Conwy river designed by Inigo Jones for Sir Richard Wynn of Gwydir and then enjoy unrivalled cream teas in the unusual setting of the 16thC courthouse, now called Tu Hwnt i'r Bont. The area is famous for its waterfalls including the spectacular Swallow Falls.

Staying in the Conwy Valley offers plenty of opportunities for those who enjoy outdoor activities of all kinds. For those who enjoy walking there are walks of all grades of difficulty ranging from mighty Snowdon which has it's own mountain railway to the more leisurely walks in the nearby Gwydir Forest, Lake Elsi and Crafnant. For the thrill seekers try the Zip Wire, Snowdonia Surfing, Bounce Below, Tree Tops Adventures, Glan-y-Gors Karting and plenty more.
