From the moment you arrive at Australian Reptile Park you will be greeted by a journey that takes you into a magical world of wildlife and adventure. Enter under a giant frilled neck lizard, down a course way banked by a trickling waterfall into a into a jungle themed reception.
Head into to the koala area for up-close photos and a pat, whilst watching them enjoy their morning feeding on eucalyptus leaves.
Hand feed free roaming kangaroos laying out in the natural bushland setting and admire some of Australia’s most famous native animals including echidnas, wombats, cassowaries, dingos, kookaburras, cockatoos and Tasmanian devils. Also, don’t forget to drop by the crocodile lagoon to see Australia’s angriest crocodile up to 5 metres in length.
Australian Reptile Park is also home to a variety exotic reptiles from around the world including komodo dragons, American alligators, and giant Galapagos tortoises.
Venture into themed exhibits including Platypus House, The Lost World of Reptiles, Spider World, plus Frog Hollow and learn about difference species from around the globe.
If you’re spending the day be thrilled by the mid morning reptile show, pack a picnic lunch and enjoy the complimentary BBQ facilities or choose from a variety of cuisine at the park’s café.
If you love shopping, the gift shop has an array of park memorabilia and souvenirs to savor your memories of a visit.
Australian Reptile Park is located between Sydney and the Hunter Valley on the Central Coast of NSW, only one hour in driving distance from either direction. It’s a perfect stopping point on route to Port Stephens.
