Avoca Beach Picture Theatre began in 1948 in the front gardens of brothers Mervyn and Norman Hunter to raise funds to build the Avoca Beach rock pool.

In Christmas 1951 the building as it currently stands was built & has continued to change and grow over time.

We love to bring quality film to a discerning audience, and endeavour to bring you the best films available.
We welcome you to come and enjoy our friendly hospitality and take in the classic surroundings of our unique theatre.
