Gourmet Getaway Tours is a locally owned small business specialising in Food and Wine Day Tours to the Hunter Valley. Jimmy Henry - owner and operator - is a chef of 20 years and a tour guide of 10 years.
We offer an escape from the city through stunning rural landscapes. Unwind and indulge in a day of sightseeing, wine appreciation and gourmet grazing /dining. Enjoy locally made wines and be tempted by new foods amongst the vines in a relaxed and personalised environment.
We are flexible. We customise each tour to accommodate personal wine preferences, all weather conditions and special dietary requirements.
All inclusive tour. It’s all included – breakfast, progressive lunch, dessert, wine tasting, transport, local knowledge. The only time you will need your wallet is if you choose to purchase bottles of wine, coffee or tea.
