Established in 2008, Rocks Brewing Co. is an Australian- owned brewery that is lead by fifth and sixth generation convict descendants. Our mission is to create Australian craft beers that bring to life the true stories of early convicts and settlers, beginning with traditional, great tasting ales 'just like your grandfathers, grandfather' drank and leading to experimental and exciting brews. After six years of being quintessential Australian gypsy brewers we finally opened our own state of the art brewery in the Sydney suburb of Alexandria.

Rocks Brewing Co. is very proud to be the first craft brewery in Australia to purchase and install a highly efficient brewing system from IDD California. This type of brewing equipment allows us to use less water (around 70,000L in the first year) and less energy to produce our brews make it better for us, better for the environment and all round better product for our customers!

Our brewery bar is located in Alexandria and serves American style cuisine, breakfast, lunch and dinner. Our menu includes an array of burgers, salads, and sharables with specials changing everyday. Throughout the year we have live music on both Saturday and Sunday in our beer garden or directly in our brewery. We are open to all ages, serving nonalcoholic drinks and kids meals, and love to see our customers bring their dogs.
