Sydney Outback’s flagship product, the Wilderness and Aboriginal Explorer, offers nature, Aboriginal and aquatic based tours to remote, spectacular destinations ‘out back’ of Sydney. We offer full day tours to the Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park National Park, located just 45 minutes north of central Sydney and to experience one of Australia’s most picturesque and diverse landscapes, by land and water.

Our 3 key experiences are:

A 3 hour scenic cruise through pristine National Park waterways on our 65 seat power catamaran – imagine what Sydney Harbour may have looked thousands of years ago
A 3 hour guided bus tour on our 25 seat bus visiting to West Head Lookout overlooking the Tasman Sea, Palm Beach, Pittwater, Lion Island, Broken Bay and the Central Coast
A visit to one of Australia’s most significant Aboriginal rock engraving sites, and others only visible from the water

Key to the visitor experience is the daily commentary comprising 150+ topics that highlight the diversity of landscape, flora, fauna, geology and rich heritage of human occupation (both the First Australians and later colonial immigrants) found within the Park. These themes are presented in a globally historical context and explained in a way that connects people to the Australian landscape as they come to understand it. This interpretation has evolved to closely match the seven of the key experiences that travelers look for when they visit Australia, namely:
