The Hop Factory is Newcastle's ultimate craft beer dining experience, offering both a craft beer restaurant & function facilities on Newcastle's most famous eat street - Darby Street. We have 16 taps of craft beer, one of the biggest ranges of Aussie & Imported in Newcastle, with a strong emphasis on food matching and a wine list exclusively featuring our local Hunter Valley vineyards.
The Hop Factory is a locally owned family business and is our dream to use our hospitality experience in a genuine craft beer and burger restaurant. We have over 30 years experience to burn in the hospitality industry and are passionate for Newcastle to have a second to none choice when it comes to micro brewed beer suitably paired with great food and a superb atmosphere. Michael has previously had a broad experience in the Newcastle & Sydney Nightlife and now continues his talents at The Hop Factory.
Michael says "The focus is not just on the beer - quality beer needs to be suitably paired with appropriate food, whether that be a burger, a traditional meal or a delicious chocolate pudding to name a few of the choices on offer".
The Hop Factory also has a strong portfolio of Hunter Valley wines, fantastic cocktails, spirits, ciders and ginger beers as well as a constantly changing range of bottled beers.
The beer range and food menu now also includes breakfast and will change so that there is always a new experience on offer with each visit.
