South Australia is a wonderful place to visit, with much diversity, from the manicured city of Adelaide and its old colonial buildings, the National Wine Centre, amazing zoo and museum, the historic Adelaide Oval and spectacular waterfront area near the casino and huge convention centre.
Then there is the wildlife, just a short drive from the city to the Adelaide Hills, which also takes you to the old German town of Hahndorf.
Whilst we specialise in wine region tours, which can include the famous Barossa Valley, we can include a mix of attractions in your day tour with us.
Ideally for groups, if you wish to have a private tour, we can often also enable you to join what we call a 'merge tour' whereby you join a small group.
Your host and owner of Be consumed tours, also trading as Barossa Valley Tours, is Wayne. He is a grape grower and winemaker in the Barossa Valley, as well as a tour operator. He also loves to cook, and serves wonderful lunches and dinners in his barrel shed, in which he has built a kitchen. At his vineyard, you are likely to see kangaroos and other wildlife, you can walk the vines, in season even get to pick some grapes! He is a Barossa and South Australia historian, and you will be treated to many stories of the Barossa characters. He is a custodian of the heritage of part of his wife's Roenfeldt family property, and you can visit the old farm homestead, built by the Barossa pioneers.
