Recently listed in the lonely planets ‘Epic Bike Rides of the world’, cyclists are taking New Zealand’s Alps 2 Ocean cycle trail by storm. The 301km trail slopes it’s way from the foot of the snow-capped Southern Alps to the Pacific Ocean. Towering mountains, striking turquoise Lakes, braided rivers comfortable riding surfaces and friendly Kiwi hospitality combine to create an unforgettable cycling experience on Adventure South’s 6 day cycle tour.
The dedicated trail descends 780 metres and is a perfect introductory - intermediate cycling holiday. It is fully supported and allows for extended rides for more experienced cyclists.

Day 1 Christchurch to Tekapo
Day 2 Tekapo to Twizel
Day 3 Twizel to Omarama
Day 4 Omarama to Kurow
Day 5 Kurow to Burnside
Day 6 Windsor to Christchurch, via Oamaru
