Absolute beach front luxury beach house at the gateway to New Zealand’s famous Bay of Islands. Four bedrooms and two bathrooms sleep up to 13 guests. All linen and towels supplied ready to walk in and enjoy.

Tapeka del Mar has unobstructed beach and bay views with an endless procession of passing boats and romantic sunsets. Direct access to a sandy all tide swimming beach with no road or dunes to cross. Located on Tapeka Point beach - just two minutes from historic Russell village with island boat tours, attractions, shops, vineyard, restaurants and nearby world class golf. Five Kayaks and a dinghy or swim to the diving pontoon in front.

The outdoor living and entertaining area is superb with a large furnished deck with BBQ. A covered verandah surrounds the house with direct access from bedrooms and living area – all just a few steps from the beach. Guests enjoy exclusive use of the beach house and all facilities. No facilities are shared with other guests or on site managers.

The Master bedroom is on a secluded wing of the house with king size bed, heated ensuite bathroom, TV and sea views. The second bedroom has a queen and single with sea views. The third bedroom has a queen and king single bed with garden views. Directly behind the house at the same level is a large fourth bedroom / games room. This contains a king bed, king single and two singles which can be placed together to create another double. This room is popular with children and families. Two portable cots, high chair, bath, swing and stroller are available for infants.

The inside living area has high ceilings, comfy leather sofas and a nautical theme with a Cape Cod feel. Unobstructed sea and beach views extend through floor level glass doors to the deck. Lots of books, magazines, board games, DVD library and extensive music library.

Fully equipped granite kitchen includes an ice maker, Nespresso machine, dish drawer dishwashers, thermo bake oven, gas hobs, microwave, bodums, serving dishes etc. Laundry with auto washer and dryer.

Entertainment includes an Onkyo/Bose home theatre, HDTV, Sat TV channels, DVD player, AppleTV, iPod dock and outdoor deck speakers. A stereo, TV and DVD player is provided in the large rear bedroom. Telephone and free high speed wireless Internet access.

The mature grounds have ample off street parking and boat trailer turning with a good all tide boat ramp, ski lane and deep water mooring for guest use. Filleting station for the day’s catch and bait freezer. Tapeka is the closest launching point to the Bay and renowned fishing location.
