Helibike Nelson is a small Nelson based company. We are all about mountain biking at any level. We love to take people on adventurous mountain bike rides in and around the top of the South Island, New Zealand.
Our driving force is the reward that comes from the huge grins we see on our clients faces at the end of the day, knowing we have taken them on a ride that has not only left a mark on their soul but will be a part of their memories forever.

We like to create a relaxed, fun atmosphere in our groups that feels like a group of mates on holiday. Our trips are led by our experienced professional guides who each bring their own unique personality, and strive to understand and meet your needs. We keep our groups small enough to make sure that we can offer the best of ourselves and pay attention to the little things that make a difference.

We are dedicated to your enjoyment and safety. Whilst you get on with having the best ride of your life, we take care of the logistics, health and safety requirements and ensure you get home safe and sound.

Our incredible rides and incredible places - We know our rides and destinations intimately. Where we take you, how we get there, and the interactions you have with our people and the environment are all extremely important to us to get right for you. We have chosen and developed a range of rides and adventures that we feel is unrivaled and each is unique in its character, just like the riders we take there.

We are personally committed to minimising our impact on the environment. We believe in taking time to think about how our actions can benefit or impact the environments and eco-systems we visit an use that to make a net positive impact.

Our people - Helibike Nelson is owned and operated by myself, Steve and my wife Jacinta. We are both very passionate mountain bikers. We lead a small and dedicated team of professional guides and drivers who along with us share a common goal to make sure your adventure with us is a rewarding, memorable and safe one. We do not rush things and like to spend time on the details and getting it right.
