Casa Rocca Piccola was built in the 16th Century for Don Pietro La Rocca, a Knight of Malta and is now the ancestral home of the 9th Marquis de Piro.
Sometimes described as a ‘living museum’, it is the only privately owned Palace open to public viewing in Valletta and has a wonderful variety of objects to see which come to life on animated guided tours.
Casa Rocca Piccola also has a network of underground tunnels cut out of the rock over the last 400 years, which were used during World War II to save hundreds of people from enemy bombs.
To really appreciate what Casa Rocca Piccola has to offer you have to come and see it!
