Malta 5D is a multilingual, historical and cultural show situated in the heart of Valletta. It's an attraction to suit all ages and appeal to a diverse audience utilising the new generation 5D cinema technology in a purpose built theatre.

At Malta 5D, you will feel the "real" emotions of the movie. In a short time, the audience will explore the colourful and impressive historical episodes of Malta & Gozo magnified with an amazing 3D film, moving seats, leg ticklers, water spray, air blasts and scents. Truly informative and entertaining!

Malta 5D takes you on an enchanting voyage beyond time to discover and feel the thrilling events that shaped the local history. Throughout the film, spectators are captivated by aerial views which delve into the past and present chapters. Together with the Maltese Falcon, the audience soar over the archipelago and dive into the open seas, twist and turn around narrow quaint streets of villages and cities, and hold their breath against oncoming attacks of spears and bombs! Full alert is essential to dodge the direct attack!

Malta 5D is a memorable adventure to witness the evidence of first human life in the various prehistoric temples. You will be exposed to the revelation of the christian faith bestowed on the island by the miraculous intervention of St Paul while travelling enroute to Damascus. You then bounce off to the victorious era of the Knights of St John and the treacherous battles surrounding the main cities of Birgu, Vittoriosa and Valletta, right up to the Island's heroic approach during World War II. A period which has scarred, shaped and encouraged the locals to strive for the future they desired. Of course, a little about the present day Malta basking in pride of accumulated achievements!

The theatre is open daily and shows run every 30 minutes. Monday to Saturday, the first show starts at 0930hrs and the last commences at 1700hrs. On Sunday and Public Holidays, the first show will run at 1000hrs and the last will begin at 1400hrs.
The theatre is easily accessible by taxi, a short walk from the main bus terminus, from near the Phoenicia Hotel which is the main bus stop for open-top buses, from the ferry harbour which services Sliema - Marsamxetto and from the three cities to Lascaris Wharf. Accessible also from the upper Barrakka Gardens which services the lift to the Valletta Cruise Port. Other means of transport within the city is the traditional horse and carriage, the fun trains and the Electrical City Cabs.

Since opening it's doors, Malta 5D has intrigued people with its unique and ultimate cinematic experience. It is constantly gaining popularity with locals and tourists. Many local tour operators have included the Malta 5D show in their full day and half day excursion packages. Due to demand, for agents and guided tours, additional shows run on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings. Booking is highly recommended if you wish to join the evening tour. There are seventeen languages to choose from and to follow the commentary, English, German, French, Spanish, Dutch, Mandarin, Turkish, Russian, Polish, Italian, Hebrew, Japanese, Hungarian, Norwegian, Swedish, Danish and Greek.

Entrance fees, including the show and a complimentary soft drink is 9euro for adults, 6euro for children under the age of 14years and infants between 0 to 3 years enter free. Group bookings are available and out of schedule shows may be requested.
