Mayfield restaurant was opened in 2010 by Kevin T byrne and Kevin D byrne both who have many years experience in Dublin restaurants, There idea was to bring to the south Dublin area of Terenure a casual yet wholesome food restaurant serving a seasonal menu with the comfortable surroundings of vintage and old world interiors.
Mayfield has grown from a small butcher shop to a larger eatery serving a brunch menu seven days a week and having a refined casual dinner menu Thursday through to Saturday. On the summer months there terrace is open all day which is hugely popular and during the winter months Mayfield has there now famous dinner and show nights.
Attached to the restaurant is a great gift shop with Irish and international products for sale from a vast selection of cards to Irish soaps and hand creams and french lambs wool scarves.
Mayfield has grown from a small cafe to a fine eatery which has placed Terenure as a place to visit when in Dublin.
