Serving delighted guests for over 75 years, Mount Elbert Lodge gives you the mountain escape you've been dreaming of. Centrally located near Leadville, Buena Vista and Aspen, the lodge is a perfect place to explore this beautiful part of Colorado.(near Aspen in summer only as the pass is closed in the winter) Our area abounds with scenery, back roads, and trails, including the Black Cloud trail right out our door. Hike to the top of Colorado's highest peak, raft the Arkansas River or go in for some tamer activities like fishing and wild flower viewing, it is all here in the heart of Colorado's high country. Then in the evening return to your cabin in the woods and a campfire or star gazing.
Our cabins range in size from one to 4 bedrooms and each is complete with kitchen/dining/living room and separate bedroom(s). We provide basic pots and pans, table service, towels and linens. So grab your food, pack your gear and come on up. Elevation 9700ft.
