In the heart of Lexington, Kentucky, is Alltech Lexington Brewing & Distilling Co., a unique stop on the world-famous Kentucky Bourbon Trail® experience and one of only a handful of joint brewing and distilling operations in the world.

The site is home to Town Branch Distillery and our brewery, which produces the Kentucky Ale® family of beers. It is the oldest craft brewery in Lexington. Alltech founder and president Dr. Pearse Lyons acquired the 200-year-old Lexington Brewing Company in 1999 and resurrected the Lexington brewing and distilling tradition that dates back to 1794.

We invite you to experience a behind-the-scenes look at our beer and spirits production and sample our products this is the only location on the Kentucky Bourbon Trail® at which you will get to sample beer as well as bourbon!

Monday–​​​​​​Saturday: 9:30 a.m. – 5:30p.m. Tours start every hour on the hour, with the last tour at 4 PM.
Note: We will be closed on Tuesdays in January and February.
Sunday: 11:30 a.m. – 5 p.m. Tours start every hour on the hour, with the last tour at 4 p.m. No liquor sales on Sunday until after 1 p.m.
Merchandise is available for purchase in the Visitor Center, spirits are sold in the distillery, and beer is available only for sampling on the tour.
