Whether you are looking for a two-hour escape on the lulling waves of Penobscot Bay or a full afternoon of wind and sail around the sparkling waters and picturesque islands of the midcoast, Maine Day Sail passengers enjoy it all!

Aboard the Portland-build Schooner Timberwind, Maine Day Sail launches herself into the tide from June 25th through October 10th, providing 2, 4, and 6-hour cruises for up to 35 passengers.

Have a big group? Why not charter the whole boat for yourselves! Businesses and schools enjoy our team-building sails where we weave leadership skills, communication, and unity into your experience. For a more educational tour, we offer the history of the Bay through interaction with it! The Timberwind, first christened the Portland Pilot in 1931, has a rich background, and she brings the past to life for any who sail her.
