Mathews Brothers is America's oldest window manufacturer, starting in business in Belfast in 1854, by brothers S.W. Mathews and N.M. Mathews. Today, Mathews Brothers products are distributed throughout New England.

Mathews Brothers offers tours of its manufacturing facility on a daily basis, subject to availability. On the walking tour, which lasts approximately one hour, guest will see how a state-of-the-art energy efficient window is made, including the production of the Sealed Insulating Glass unit, the cutting, fabrication and welding of the frames, and the structural test wall, which dramatically demonstrates the tremendous wind loads our windows can withstand.

Tours are appropriate for ages 6 and above, with adult supervision. Factory floor is handicap accessible. Some loud noises will be heard. Tour sign up for can be found on company's website.
