Cartmel village shop, situated in the village square. is the home of sticky toffee pudding ,we started making it here in 1990, at the back of the shop.Word got out that it was amazing , so we had to move production to a perpus built bakery.
The shop is now filled with lots of sticky toffee puddings, local Jams, pickles, toffee vodka , soft drinks , snakes for a picnic and lots more.
Up stares you will find a small tearoom were you can eat S.T.P. or have lunch and coffee etc. Or take it away to eat on the go .
The village has a 12 century priory and a race course ,their are lots of lovely walks from the public car park ,which you will find on the race course , 100m away from the shop.
