The village shop has been the home of sticky toffee pudding for the last 26 years.
Come and visit us , to see all our lovely goodies , from toffee vodka,biscuits, jams, pickles, oils and vinaigrette, chocolate for Christmas, to a takeaway sandwich and homemade quiche for lunch. Or altatively visit our first floor cafe for coffee , lunch and of course sticky toffee pudding
Set in the village square, the shop used to be a post office and general store , before that it was a pig and bacon cures, as you walk in you will see the vast array of meat hooks in the ceiling, were the bacon and ham wood hang.
The puddings were first made in the back of the shop by jean johns and her daughter and son in law , Sarah and David Holliday. While Howard johns, manned the post office . Today with great demand , the puddings are made in a perpous built kitchen in the next village , but all are made in the same way, with love and pride.
