The Lakeland Wildlife Oasis takes you on an evolutionary journey spanning 300,000,000 million years with everything from fossils to fossas! Our all weather attraction combines lush tropical halls and an outdoor zoo area with fascinating flora and fauna from all around the world.
Take the opportunity to get up close and personal with a wide range of creatures in walk though enclosures, even our breeding pair of snow leopards in Britain's first walk through big cat enclosure (safely inside an acrylic tunnel.) Many of the animals at Lakeland Wildlife Oasis are threatened in the wild and are part of cooperative breeding programmes operating by zoos worldwide.
With a host of hands on activities, The Lakeland Wildlife Oasis is the little zoo with lots to do!
Emperor tamarins are always on the lookout. You can watch them from the cafe whilst you eat your lunch.

Sometimes animals come a little closer than expected in the walk through lemur enclosure, especially if you are a keeper for the day.
