Established in 2001, Acanteen is a family run business born out of a passion for creating good wholesome proper food. We offer all day relaxed dining and drinking. Open all day for great coffee, brunch, afternoon tea, light bites, dinner & late drinks. Our talented chefs cook everything from scratch fresh every day in our open kitchen. We are proud to say that our food is Ethically produced and sustainably sourced.
ABAKESHOP. In the same premises as ACANTEEN is our own TAKE AWAY & JUICE BAR, open for customers in a hurry or on the go. Serving Breakfast & Lunch for all tastes. We stock a good ever expanding range of everyday supplies & delicious treats. Gluten free, whole foods, vegan and vegetarian produce and much more. Our grab & go breakfast & lunches are the best around. Pop in for a flat white & bloomer at any time of the day. Or grab delicious pie or cake to enjoy at home.
Outside Catering. We cater for all types of events from the simplest office lunch through to a grand wedding buffet. We also pop at various festivals and events around Essex serving our food and drink.
Private Dining/ Function/ Meeting Room. We have a large private room available which can accommodate business and pleasure. Holds maximum of 20 for sit down meal or 40 for buffet / drinks.
