We are a family owned independent pub. The pub dates from the 1690's and until a few years ago was totally derelict. It was bought and refurbished by a local family and is now producing award winning food.

Our ethos is to use locally sourced food whenever possible- and this applies to our drinks as well. Cider and apple juice come from within 8 miles away. The meat is fully traceable and we also have a separate menu for vegetarians and vegans.

We also have a large enlosed play area and a set of stunning African pods for outside dining.

We also have 4 rooms, rated 4* by the AA. Appointed to a high standard, with hand crafted oak fixtures and fittings with free wi-fi available.
