The Golden Cross is set in the heart of a small Herefordshire Village. Whilst giving the external appearance of a small rural pub, enter in & it opens out before your eyes (it has been called a Tardis by many). A large open plan bar extends on out to a beer garden. On the first floor there is a dedicated Restaurant, which can be hired for meetings, parties, weddings or other events.
The Restaurant is focussed on producing mouth-watering chargrilled steaks, together with a strong emphasis on "British" cuisine. Open 7days a week - Lunch time (12-2pm, 12-2.30pm on Sundays) & in the evenings (6-9pm).
The bar is traditionally focussed with a strong emphasis on Local Real Ale & Herefordshire Ciders. It boasts & hosts pub games such as Darts, Pool & Quoits. For the sports enthusiast, we offer both BT SPORT & SKY SPORT. Every Friday there is live music - with all tastes catered for.
The Cross likes to think of it's self as a venue that caters for everyone - Young or Old, Able bodied & not so abled, Even dog friendly.
So whatever your reason...we believe we offer you a reason to swing by the Cross for something to eat or drink...hopefully, BOTH!
