Located in the English sea port town of Cowes, the Fountain Hotel has recently been refurbished to present a traditional style, with a host of modern facilities. Dating from 1793, the hotel has a long-standing history in the local area, now recognised throughout the world as the home of the annual Cowes Week Regatta.

This property is 9 minutes walk from the beach. The Fountain Inn overlooks the River Medina and has harbour views from its al fresco dining area. It offers free Wi-Fi, a good breakfast and live music on most Friday and Saturday nights.

Located in West Cowes, only a step off the ferry terminal, the Fountain is also just one mile to Cowes’ seafront. The third President of the United States, Thomas Jefferson, stayed at the inn with his entourage after a state visit in 1789.

The restaurant offers a wide selection of freshly prepared traditional favourites and the traditional bar offers some light, tasty snacks and meals.

All bedrooms at the Fountain Inn are decorated in warm tones and have an en suite bathroom. They also feature a flat-screen TV, a hairdryer and tea/coffee making facilities. Some have sea views.

This hotel boasts 20 traditional but stylish bedrooms, to relax and enjoy the sights of the Isle of Wight.

With a relaxing bar area serving cask ales, premium lagers and fine wines to compliment the traditional English menu.
