Chocolate Ecstasy Tours began in 2005 at a time when most spam filters wouldn't let "Ecstasy" through. The founder, Jennifer Earle, wrote a list of things she loved which included, chocolate, meeting people, talking, eating and London. From this she brainstormed how she could start a business and - voila! - Chocolate Ecstasy Tours was born
By the end of all our Chocolate Ecstasy Tours and Experiences, we guarantee you will be completely chocolate-ed out! Our tours are perfect for chocoholics and also enjoyed by those with a casual interest in chocolate! The aim of the tours is primarily to have fun. We also want to show you a different side of British cities and help you learn about chocolate - mostly through tasting some of the most delicious sweet (and not so sweet!) things the UK has to offer. We research every area thoroughly before we launch a tour, ensuring we’re well-versed in local history and armed with a collection of fascinating stories and obscure facts to entertain you en route.
Not content with just chocolate and London, Jennifer and her awesome guides are on a mission to support and explore chocolate and other fine foods in the UK. The Chocolate & Coffee Tour of Notting Hill launched in April 2014, along with tasting evenings to sample incredible bars from around the world. The Brighton Chocolate Tour launched in August 2014 and in 2015 we took on Ice Cream as well. Eventually we hope there will be adventures led by us in York. We also offer chocolate making workshops, as well as tastings, for a messier, more hands-on experience!
This care includes adapting the tour for people with physical challenges or allergies, intolerances or dislikes – the more notice you give us for any special requirements, the easier it is for us to make the tour smooth and enjoyable for you.
