On Monday 20th March, Soho’s underground sensation Cahoots will be celebrating the 100th birthday of the sweetheart of the British Forces, Dame Vera Lynn. The marvellous milestone is certainly a cause for celebration, as the evening will co-incide with the release of her brand new album ‘Vera Lynn 100’. To honour the occasion, renowned 1940’s themed bar Cahoots will be throwing a party to go down in history, sponsored by Bombay Sapphire. Open from 5pm, guests will be welcomed underground to enjoy an evening fit for a Dame. Relax in the authentic vintage train carriage, or perch at the bar and order the renowned Vera Lynn cocktail, served in a convincing miniature sculpture of the Dame’s head! In support of Dame Vera’s charitable endeavours, a percentage of every Vera Lynn cocktail sold on the night will to the Dame Vera Lynn children’s charity. Other drinks will on offer from the Cahoots menu will use flavours and ingredients from the allotments of London to the green fields of the home counties as inspiration.
