Victoria House is a small, detached Victorian property with its own garden, with gated access to Gold Park, across which the sea is 100 yards away.
It is fitted with a modern luxury kitchen, 16ft x 15ft; cosy sitting room with wood burner and seating for four; UPVC conservatory with furniture, large double bedroom with large wardrobe, luxury bathroom with bath and thermostatic shower over in glass cubicle. This is a two bedroomed cottage, but is also our home when we are not in Spain, so we let only for couples (often with dogs), the spare bedroom being for storage. The cottage is therefore very homely and comfortable!
Outside there is a gravelled parking area at the front, large enough for three cars, and a good sized back garden, totally dog-proof, with access through a gate to Gold park, the seashore and the sea front with the Royal and Manor hotels, Ship restaurant and pub (since the pictures were taken, the shingle areas in the garden have been replaced with textured paved patio and walkways. There are also more shrubberies and trees. Photos will be replaced as and when).
From the front door, it is only 50 yards to the village centre, with access to the post office, cafe, veg shop, butchers, charity shop, florists, chemist, hardware store, Fish and chip/American burger bar, gift /art shop, hairdressers, doctors' surgery and fish stall.
A Tesco Express and Spar shop are within half a mile, also a petrol station and two garages.
There are many good dog walks, along the beach, cliff walks and numerous countryside footpath walks.
North Walsham is five miles away, where you can do your large shops in Sainsbury's, Waitrose or Lidls.

A short drive away there are many places to visit, including Blickling Hall and park, eight miles away, where you can explore the home of Ann Boleyn, and walk around the picturesque lake, before taking refreshments in the Buckinghamshire Arms, a wonderful pub/restaurant, serving excellent food and ale. About twenty miles away, the upmarket town of Holt, offers excellent shopping facilities and hostelries. Further afield, you can visit Holkham Hall, a massive Palladian building, with grounds and lakes, which is adjacent to the road that takes you to Holkham Beach, very famous for its massive beach, with the sea in the distance, and the inland boundary of pines, where the Queen Mother had her lodge/summerhouse (still there) used during visits to Sandringham (incidentally about 1.5 hours away).
Or, closer to home, you can visit Felbrigg Hall, again with its own lake and beautiful walks, only 5 miles away; or visit Cromer or Sheringham, with its war museum and beach-side town, about 8 and 12 miles away respectively. In the other direction, a 20-minute drive will take you to Stalham, the start of the Norfolk Broads. This part of the Broads is the most beautiful, with the river Ant tracking through heavily treed venues, on the way to Barton Broad, a very large lake, and many places beyond, such as Wroxham and Horning.
